Central Library
Govt. Dental college library is situated in the ground floor of the college building. It has a collection of 2836 medical books and 142 bound volumes of journals. Library is fully computerized with the ‘Book Magic Library software’. The library area houses Circulation section, Stack area, Reference section, Reprographic (photocopying section), Librarian’s Room, Internet Browsing area, Technical section, General reading area, and Periodicals section.
All members of the staff, students, and non - teaching staff of the college are members of the library.
The library at present has a collection of 2836 volumes of medical books and the library subscribes to 10 journals and received 10 numbers of complementary copies of journals. Elsevier’s E- Journals and E-Books online service are available in the library.
The library provides the following services:
Central Library opens all Working days from 10am to 5pm. Books shall be issued from / returned to the library at the time and in the manner notified by the library from time to time. The present library Issue and returned timings are 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days, including Saturdays.
